Landing on the rooftop would give her a view of the pair who stood on the rooftop. One was a girl in so much pale pink that it almost made the eye hurt.
Her back was to Ladybug, hiding the fact that she wore no mask at all. Her hands were each holding a pompom resting on her hips in a defiant pose, her hair floating back towards Ladybug in the wind.
She was facing a tall slender boy with cat ears and a long jacket with feathered collar and an arm patch. He was the one playing the violin and the Batsu-tamas were gathering around him.
"IKUTO!" the girl yelled over the music, she sounded ready to cry. "Stop this at once! You're not like this! You know you're not, you're strong enough to fight this!"
He stopped playing to look at her, and then his eyes met Ladybug's over the girl's head, and he smirked. He whipped out his bow, smashing it into an egg, destroying it. It cracked in a shower of dark purple energy and black bits of shells. "That's one child that will never dream again," he said coldly. "If you really think you can save them..."
From the way the girl moved, it was clear she thought he was challenging her. But his eyes were locked with those of the new comer, his inviting smirk meant for her.
