A Miraculous Chara - A PSL for a Ladybug/SC uber crossover.

They had gotten to Japan, and had been told to settle into their hotel. The next morning would be a museum and an observatory, then Monday they'd have three days of classes in a Japanese school to learn how they learned there, and then more cultural stops, including the Fujisaki dance academy that is old enough to be a landmark, and a temple. But for tonight, resting off the jet-lag, and dinner in the rooms.

More than half the class was asleep when the music started. Alya was out like a light, leaving Marinette some relative privacy in the hotel room, which had a wide balcony overlooking the city. The music came from somewhere outside, from a distance, but as clear as if the person playing that haunting tune was in front of her. Violin. One player, solo. The music stretched and reached, pulling at something within each child, but only some of them were affected.

Alya was one such, and the one Marinette was most likely to see. From her sleeping body there would be the slightest spasm, then something would rise from her, a black egg with a big white X over it. It would hover over her body a moment, then shoot out past Marrinette, flying all out towards the source of the music. From all over the hotel, eggs would be flying out the same way, all black with white Xs, all finding the closest possible exit, and getting out of dodge.

"If Ikuto knows her, she could be Easter! She could be helping the eggs escape!" the young boy called out.

Amu hesitated, then shook her head, swallowing hard. "We have to purify the eggs, we can find him later." She turned to Ladybug. "Really on our side or pretending to gain our trust, we can figure all that out later, either way you should help us now. We need to gather them all in one place. Without breaking them! And quick before they.."

A cracking sound began as an egg started to open.

"Hatch...." she said. "We need reinforcements!"

"They're on their way."

"Sorry," she said quickly to the boy, then rammed into him and dropped from the roof.

"H...HOLY CROWN!" A burst of gold light made a cushion, dropping them to the ground. The Batsu-tama followed them.

"I thought so - we need to catch the eggs..." she mused to herself and took up her yo-yo, tossing it high in to the sky.

"Lucky charm!"

In a flash of light of rosy-pink heart shaped bugs flying and in its place came - a vacuum? It was all read with black polka dots and a novel with two speeds - off and high. The nozzle was wide, wider than the eggs and all the way down there appeared to be fluffy clothe as a barrier all the way down.

"Hey!" she called to the others, "Bring the this way! I have an idea!"

They exchanged a look, then Amu made the call. She pushed off from the ground and leapt... and then hovered at the same height as Ladybug. "You better be on our side," she muttered, then she whistled sharply. All of the eggs turned their Xs to face Amu. "Can't catch me!" she said, pumping a pom pom as she pushed off from the air, as if it were ground, and did a summersault over Ladybug's head. "Whatever you're going to do, DO IT NOW!"

"Here we go!" Ladybug cried and flipped the switch to high. The force was more than she expected and she had to dig her heels in a bit to keep herself grounded.

Just as she hopes the suction of the vacuum was intense and she looks up to spot Amu.

"Keep your distance! Don't wanna take you in with them!"

Along with the suction from the vacuum it sucks in some surround debris as well, including loosening a few pieces of roof top and twigs.

Amu jumped out of the way again as the eggs got sucked in. But the one that had hatched floated free, and from the halves of the shells came a batus-chara.



"Muri...." it crooned at them. "Muuuuuriiiiii!"

"Bring the eggs to the ground, we need all the help we can get!" Amu called to Ladybug. She really REALLY hoped she hadn't just given Easter a basket full of eggs....

Ladybug ducked the last of the eggs and shut off the vacuum with her foot. Grabbing hold of the vacuum and leaping to the ground with ease. She lands and races towards the other, placing down the vacuum.

"What about the one that hatched? What do we do with it?"

Amu gave a small sigh of relief that she had joined them, rather than fleeing into the night with the eggs. "We have to get it to stay still long enough that I can get it back into the egg."

"Tightrope Dancer!" a female voice said from behind. A rope shot over their head, trying to rope around the creature, but it flew up just at the last moment.

"MUUUUUURRRRIIIIIIIIIIIII Muuuuuuriiiiii MURI!" it's mouth opened and it's small arms pulled forward shooting a wave of black and purple energy at them.

"HOLY CROWN!" The gold princely looking one created a gold shield over himself, the girl in pink, and Ladybug.

The girl who had joined the fray, looking like a small small child dressed up in a clown suit gave a small scream as some of the darkness arced towards her.



A boy, who unlike the rest of them was dressed in fairly normal clothes raced forward, throwing himself between the girl and the darkness. "Fi...finish it already..." he shouted, doing his best to be encouraging, despite the fact that he was clearly in pain.

How were so many involved? She wondered if the Miraculous were ever the same?

"Hold on." she told and reached to touch the girl in pink's shoulder and call her attention.

"I'll try to suck it in with the vacuum. When it's close enough grab it, okay?"

Amu hesitated, then nodded. "Yeah. Good idea."

"Any time now," the boy with the purple hair muttered.

Ladybug nods and holds up the vacuum and flips the switch and aims it at the floating little creature.

"Here little hatched egg buddy. Come into the vacuum with your little buddies."

[amu_chan]

"Muuuuurrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" It cried, in distress as it struggled to escape the pull.

Amu struck her pose. "NEGATIVE HEART, LOCK ON!" she shouted, then pushed the heart her hands made out. "OPEN HEART!"

"Muuuu......" The thing shimmered and faded, and for a moment it suddenly became what looked like a small person in a dazzling gown, with perfectly coifed hair and a small circlet. The tiny girl smiled as a pale pink egg shell appeared in halves around her, and as she bowed, the egg closed, then flew off back towards the hotel.

Amu turned to the vacuum. "Hit reverse and let's do this!

"Rima, Tadase," the boy said, standing and sounding strong despite the attack he had taken. HE looked a bit of a mess, though.

"You don't have to tell me," the little girl snapped. "Why don't you babysit Yaya and leave us alone!" Suddenly there were bowling pins in her hand, and she moved with one foot back, as if braced for an attack.

The other boy was holding his scepter out, aimed at the vacuum bag. "Ready. Do it, Amulet Heart."

She nods to the girl and glanced briefly over at the others before popping open vacuum and unzipping the bag. She takes a step back unsure of what exactly is going to happen, but takes a stand by Amu, taking up her yo-yo just in case.

The eggs shot up from the bag. And hovered a moment, as if confused.

Amu nodded and made the heard again. "Negative heart, LOCK ON! OPEN HEART!" She blasted her energy at the eggs, and the black faded to gold as the Xs vanished. The eggs all bobbed for a moment, then flew off the ways they had come.

Amu breathed a sigh of relief and wicked sweat from her forehead.

"That was a bad one."

"He can't be forgiven for this."

She glared for a moment, then turned away. "He's not acting like himself Tadase, something's wrong. You know that!"

"Not acting like himself? You mean creating Batsu-tamas, and destroying them like he doesn't care, and working for Easter?"

"Even Yoru says something is wrong, and he's stopped seeing Utau all together. We're his friends! We have to help him!"

"No, Amu. We're not. We're his enemies. That's all we'll ever be."

She looked furious, then with effort pushed the fury to the side and turned to Ladybug. "Thanks for your help."

The boy gave a small smile. "It's good to know that we found another Guardian. The former Jack will be thrilled. I'm Nagihiko Fujisaki, current Jack chair. I don't think we've ever had six before."

"And she already can chara-change. That's great!"

The small girl in the clown get up gave a small sniff of disdain. "If we're done, I need to go home..."

"Oh - I - uhm," she starts looking at the group around her and stepping aside slightly.

"I'm not - a Jack or anything like that. I'm Ladybug. I'm - a Miraculous."

[amu_chan]

"Well, someone thinks a lot of herself. Amu-chan, you'll go straight home, right?"

"I'll walk her home," Tadase offered.

Amu proceeded to turn the approximate shade of pink of her hair. "I... I can walk... I mean... I'll have Ran and the others and...."

A small blue child floated out from behind Amu. "They could walk with us. I wouldn't mind."

There was a flash of glitter, and Amu stood there in pajamas - black pants with little red and white skulls on them and a red shirt with a giant white and black skull. A little red and pink child appeared, much like Tikki did when a transformation ended. "We can walk our new friend home together first!"

"I'm sure Nagihiko can do that," Rima said stiffly.

"Sure!" the miniature cheerleader said, "We all can! We'll see you at school tomorrow, Rima, Kusukusu!

the transformation popped leaving Rima in a long frilly pink nightgown that made her look about 7 years old, and beside her was a small clown looking child that started laughing at them all, like this was a great joke.

She stares, dumbfounded and amazed at all the new little - figures. She smiles at them charmed by how cute they are and laughs softly when the clown child appears.

"Well, hello to you too." she smiles, "You're all - so little and - and what are you?"

"We're Shugo Charas, of course!" the little pink cheerleader said.

The small blue child floated closer to Ladybug. "Why are your earrings changing?" she asked, confused. She pulled a small sketch pad from her little bag. "I wanted to draw them, Maybe amu would look good in red and black dots too, but not skintight like that. It works for you, but she doesn't have the body for it..," thinking out loud, critically.

"MIKI!" Amu shouted, blushing even more darkly.

Rima's hands were in small fists.

Nagihiko sighed sightly, with a small half smile. "I'll walk you closer to home, Rima. That way you know I'm not walking Amu, okay?"

She scowled then stalked over to Ladybug. "Amu is my best friend. Not yours, not Nadeshiko's," she said firmly, seeming very much like Manon. She turned on a heel and stalked off. Nagihiko following behind, with a wink to the rest of them.
