Amu wasn't listening, focused on the eggs. So was Tadase and Kukai. Nadeshiko and Yaya were keeping a half eye on her.
"Yeah, don't know why they are after us this time. You look really cool and all but if you're from Easter I'm going to hit you hard over the head!"
Before anyone could say anything to what Yaya said, Amu skidded to a stop. The tall boy that had had been watching the other combat was standing in front of them, holding one of the black eggs. Just like at the end of the last battle when he was on the roof, he had cat ears and a tail. He smirked at them all. "No embryo this time, but... perhaps something interesting." His dark eyes flicked to Ladybug. "Do you always interrupt concerts, or is she just special?"
"Let the egg go," Amu said. "you don't have to destroy it!"
"Don't have to?" he asked, seeming amused, but still keeping an eye on Ladybug.
