AAAAAAAS she was jumping, Miki's voice would say, seemingly from all around her, "I'm not actually sure we can fly........"
And they couldn't. But apparently what they could do, if she allowed instinct - and Miki - to take over, was to draw the needles across the sky swiftly, which formed a parachute somehow....
Or she could just fall. Which is also an option, since Kukai jumped ahead of her and is ready to catch her.
